About the Artist
Peter Maeck is a photographer based in Raleigh, NC. He has a BA from Dartmouth College and an MFA from Brandeis University. Maeck’s work has been exhibited at the Center for Fine Art Photography, Ft. Collins, CO; Jeffrey Leder Gallery, New York, NY; and Kiernan Gallery, Lexington, VA. Peter's photographs, along with his poetry, appear in his book, Remembrance of Things Present: Making Peace with Dementia, released by Shanti Arts Publishing. Maeck counts Henri Cartier-Bresson, Johannes Vermeer, and J.M.W. Turner among his greatest artistic influences.
