About the Artist
Thibault Roland is a photographer based in Portland, OR. He studied alternative photography techniques with photographer Ron Cowie. Roland’s work has been exhibited at the Yellowstone Art Museum, Billings, MT; Kusch Gallery, Paris, France; and Harvard University, Cambridge, MA. His work is in the permanent collections of the Boston Athenaeum and the Yellowstone Museum of Art. Roland’s work has been featured in Lenswork and in 2014, he self-published his first book of photographs, Cornell Timescapes. Roland counts Michael Kenna, Henri Cartier-Bresson, and Eugene Atget among his greatest artistic influences.
