About the Artist
Sara Silks is a photographer based in Kansas City, Kansas. She received a BA and an MA from the University of Kansas. Silks' specializes in alternative photographic processes, studying with printmaker John Talleur and Christopher James, the author of The Book of Alternative Photographic Processes. Silks’ work has been exhibited at the Rhode Island Center for Photographic Arts, Providence, RI; the Southeast Center for Photography, Greenville, SC; and the PhotoPlace Gallery, Middlebury, VT.
