John Kane is a photographer based in Issaquah and Tieton, WA. He has attended photographic workshops led by Keith Carter, Sam Abell, Ron Rosenstock, and Pat O'Hara. Kane’s work has been exhibited at the Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, OR; the Center for Fine Art Photography in Fort Collins, CO; Lightbox Gallery in Astoria, OR; BOXX Gallery in Tieton, WA and the Larson Gallery, Yakima, WA. His work was the subject of a solo exhibition at the Paper Hammer Gallery, Seattle, WA. Kane counts Stephen Shore, Joel Sternfeld, and Walker Evans among his greatest artistic influences.
