Barbara Peacock is a photographer based in Portland, ME. She received a BFA in fine art from Boston University and studied photography at Tufts University. Peacock’s work has been exhibited at the Maine Museum of Photographic Arts, Portland, ME; Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, OR; and Duncan Miller Gallery, Los Angeles, CA. Her work has been featured in The New York Times, The Guardian, and Magnus. In 2017, Peacock received the Getty Editorial Grant for her ongoing series, American Bedroom: Reflections on the Nature of Life. Peacock’s first monograph, Hometown, was published in 2016 by BazanPhotos Publishing.
